Oliver Lanzenberg, a cinematographer based out of New York City, is a recent Film & Television graduate at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Upon graduating, Oliver was 2011's sole undergraduate recipient of the Volker Bahnemann Award for Cinematography presented by ARRI, inc.. Oliver’s passion for filmmaking was spurred at a very young age by way of frequent visits to film sets with his parents and other family friends who work in the industry. Oliver has lived, studied and worked in Los Angeles, California and Santa Fe, New Mexico prior to his move to the Northeast. Oliver has been shooting student and independent films consistently since his senior year of high school and is now more than ever a firm believer in the power of light manipulation as a story telling device. One shot at a time he hopes to make the world a better place.
